Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was recently irritated by a reporter who requested an interview while India was competing in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. India, who entered the competition as the clear favourites and defending winners, had a poor performance. The Men in Blue, however, were eliminated from the competition in the Super 4 round, which Sri Lanka ultimately won for the sixth time in tournament history.

The event took place after Virat Kohli, playing for India in the Asia Cup final against Afghanistan, snapped a long century drought in international cricket with a magnificent and undefeated 122.

Just outside the stadium entrance, a reporter approached Ganguly and requested an interview. Another reporter was heard in the video asking Ganguly for comment on Kohli’s century.
