David Warner’s future with SRH.

David Warner joined Sunrisers Hyderabad in the year 2014. He became captain in 2015, and ended the season as the tournament’s orange cap winner.

Warner has been one of the most successful batsman in IPL, has scored over 5000 runs. He is the most aggressive batsman who has destroyed every bowling attacks over the years.

In IPL 2021 season, Sunrises Hyderabad has won only 2 matches out of 12. This has been the worst season for the Hyderabad team and Australian batsman. This season David Warner has scored only 195 runs in 8 matches.

During the first leg of IPL Warner was removed as captain due to his poor performance and then he was dropped from the match against Rajasthan Royals. Warner was missing out from SRH dugout in the last two games and was not even allowed to travel with the team.

In 2014, Warner joined the Hyderabad team. That season warner score 528 runs in 14 matches averaging 48.00, with 6 fifties. He continued his good performance in 2015 by scoring 562 runs in 14 matches at an average of 43.23 with 7 fifties.

Warner guided the orange army and they lifted the IPL cup in the 2016 year. The orange army defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in the finale and he scored 848 runs in 17 matches at an average of 60.57, including 9 half- centuries. It was the best season for the captain. Warner scored 600 plus runs in 2017 and 2019. He scored 548 runs in 16 matches, had an impressive batting in 2020 season.

2022 Mega IPL Auction:

If SRH management decides not to take warner back in the team, then we will see him in the mega auction pool next year. The Australian has enough potential left in him and can attract major buyer in the auction. It will be interesting see the auction as two more teams will be joining IPL. There can be possibility of David warner joining the other team and starting his new journey.
