UEFA will have to redo the Champions League draw for the round of 16 after mistakenly placing Manchester United’s name into the wrong pot. This incident took place when Andrey Arshavin has shown Manchester United team to take place in the wrong spot and they revealed that the cause of this incident in a tweet mentioning that a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other. So they announced that they going to void the draw result that took place and going to redo it at 1500 CET.
This voided draw now is creating an opportunity for another matchup between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. This is going to be a Goosebumps for all football freaks and going to enjoy it a lot. As Manchester United is already drawn against Villarreal will be facing now with Manchester City. Therefore Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United are the 2 teams finally picked up. The teams from the same group and country are not permitted to face one another according to tournament rules, so due to the software issue, UEFA has gone through this rare mistake. Due to this issue now Atletico Madrid and Villarreal also claims to give them a chance to join the competition.
