Sudhir Gautam is very well known as one of the highest cricket fans for Sachin Tendulkar. He used to color his body with paint that resembles the Indian flag and also having Sachin Tendulkar’s name on his body. He used to attend every match played by Team India and cheer a lot for Tendulkar. He recently has reported that he allegedly was abused and beaten up by the Bihar police in Muzaffarpur district on January 20. It was reported that Sudhir has gone to see his cousin that got stuck in a land dispute but instead got abused and beaten by police.
Sudhir has not yet described the complete situation but so far as have news that he went to meet his cousin Kishan in the police custody then a duty officer has started abusing him and he tried to stop it responding but the officer has beaten him. The incident is all the more shocking as it happened in the same police station which he had inaugurated a few years ago as a celebrity guest. He later walked out of the police station in silence and later has filled an FIR to the DSP Ramnaresh Paswan. He stated “A few years ago, I, as a celebrity, was called to inaugurate the new building of the police station. But, today I was beaten up at the same police station. When such an incident can happen to me, then how the police would have dealt with the general public, it is understandable,” Then it was said that DSP has said surely will take action on the person responsible and bring them some justice.
