Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero has been diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia and will undergo more tests in hospital after being taken off during the team’s 1-1 draw with Alaves on Saturday at the Camp Nou.
Sergio Aguero who this Saturday was rushed to a hospital for a discomfort in the chest which sparked concern. After hours of reviews it was revealed that the “Kun” suffered a cardiac arrhythmia so you will have to stay in the hospital for several days.According to EFE, the Barcelona team reported that Agüero had a heart problem that prevented him from continuing on the field and so now he must pass more tests to know how affected the player may be after the diagnosis.
Agüero barely has a few games with Barcelona and last week he scored his first goal with the team after the arrival of Manchester City, in a few words he has not done well since his arrival because the intention of his hiring was to retain Lionel Messi but in the end it could not be done and he was left alone in the team, then with an injury at the beginning of the season and now this is much more serious.
Aguero required treatment on the pitch five minutes before half-time but was then substituted and sent to hospital. The Catalan giants subsequently confirmed Aguero had been admitted for a “cardiac exam.”
The striker told sources close to him that he felt unwell during the first half against Alaves and sensed a “tightness in his chest which made him uncomfortable and he told us that he could not continue.”
Aguero is expected to stay in hospital for “the next few days,” according to Marca. The Argentine will therefore definitely miss Barcelona’s next game at Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday, November 2.Barcelona are yet to offer more detail on Aguero but did offer some injury updates ahead of the trip to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev. Defender Gerard Pique has been ruled out for an unspecified time with a calf injury.
