Sharjah Cricket Ground may or may not be a fans’ favorite ground, but it certainly isn’t favorite for the bowlers. Remarkably short boundaries on all sides means that even the mishits can go for the maximums. It was, in fact, evident in the last match here wherein several mishits cleared the rope with significant ease. Though the surface is going to be a bit two-paced, the short boundaries will negate the advantage the spinnners have. Change of pace and hitting the deck hard would be the key for the quick bowlers. While yorkers are going to be important as well, even a slight mistake there could mean a huge penalty.
