SERIES: Dream11 IPL, 2020 (MI VS RR)
VENUE: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
DATE & TIME: 6th October, 07:30 PM, IST.
MI VS RR Preview:
On the match number 20 of Dream11 IPL, we have a tough combat between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. Both the teams are almost in a similar situation in terms of matches won and lost. MI have produced immense scores with the bat and also epic chases. While the RR team shined only in Sharjah, and failed to win even a single game at a different venue. Looking at the points table we have the Mumbai Indians at the no.1 spot having won three out of their five games. The Rajasthan Royals are currently at no.5 spot having won two out of their four games (updated after KXIP vs CSK match).
Pitch Report:
The Sheikh Zayed Stadium has hosted 45 T20I matches in the last ten years, where the highest team total has been 225/7. The pitch has been good for batsmen, but the spin bowlers often trouble them on this ground. The average run rate in T20I games played in Abu Dhabi is 7, which shows that anything above 140 will be a par score. The surfaces at the UAE are all slowish and hence make it very difficult for the batsmen to hit the biggies.
MI VS RR Innings Predicted Scores:

MI VS RR SUPER 9:
Top Picks:
- Rohit Sharma
Number one stands our MI captain Rohit Sharma. The right handed batsmen has not had a great season so far where he only shined in one game out of the three. The vintage Rohit will be looking to strike well in this match against the Royals. He would also be the top picked player in Dream11.
2. Jasprit Bumrah
On number two we have the god of death overs, Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah too hasn’t had a great season as compared to his previous bowling figures, but has turned out to be economical with the ball. His last game against KXIP will teach him a lot more to improvise in this game.
3. Steve Smith
On number 3 we have the RR captain Steve Smith, who is currently the highest ICC ranked player in the world. His classic shots are a one to watch and rejoice. We hope this game Against Mumbai goes well for him.
Captain Choices:
1. Kieron Pollard
At number one we have one of the best all-rounders in the world, who is well known for his power strokes and shifting of gears quickly. He will also contribute in the bowling section and can finish things off in style.
2. Sanju Samson:
on number 2 we have the youngster Sanju Samson, who is a very talented wicket-keeper batsmen. He can explode wherever needed and contribute massive scores to his team. He is currently the highest scorer for his team.
3. Quinton De Kock:
Last but not the least is our MI’s very own wicket keeper left handed opening batsmen Quinton De Kock. He has played a decent innings so far in the tournament and has given a good start for his team. He needs to fancy his chances and utilize it wisely on the upcoming games.
Budget Picks:
- Ishan Kishan
On top stands our MI’s overnight star, who won the hearts of many, even after being on the loosing side. Ishan Kishan (8.5 credits) played a beautiful innings against the RCB scoring 99 of just 58 deliveries. Although he had managed to bring his team to the finishing line, destiny had something else written on that particular day.
2. Surya Kumar Yadav
On number 2, we have our youngster Suryakumar (8.5 credits) who is an emerging player and is very reasonable in the DREAM11 as well. We can place him in our fantasy team in almost all the matches as he has great potential. He played extremely well against the Knight Riders and will look to entertain us in this encounter against the Mumbai Indians.
3. Jaydev Unadkat
Last but not the least we have the most expensive player of 2018 IPL Unadkat (8.5 credits). The former RCBian is specialized in bowling during the death overs. He is all set to create a mark in front of the selectors.
