Ravi Bishnoi, a leg-spinner for Team India, has stated his wish to bowl alongside Rashid Khan in the future. Both players approach leg-spin similarly, relying on their own unique variants rather than the conventional method of using flight.
The former U-19 World Cup participant has advanced significantly over the past few years. He played for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) before getting selected by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He was called up to the national team as a result of his steady performance, and he instantly made an impression with a player-of-the-match showing on his debut. On Sports Over the Top on Sports18, Bishnoi praised teammate and fellow leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal while naming Rashid Khan as his ideal bowling partner:
Yuzvendra Chahal, one of the top 5 spinners right now, was enjoyable to bowl with. I would adore bowling alongside Rashid Khan if I were given the chance because I would be able to practise bowling in a team. Despite having taken 16 wickets in 10 games since making his debut earlier this year, the teenager was unable to guarantee his spot in Team India’s T20 World Cup 2022 roster. He will be travelling to Australia with the team as one of the stand-by players next month.
Bishnoi’s ability transfer has been sped up thanks to the IPL. The league gives young people the chance to compete and learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry.
