Harshal Patel the highest wicket taker in IPL 2021.

The Haryana boy from Royal Challengers Bangalore team has broken the record for picking most wickets being an uncapped player in an IPL season at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. He has been the bowler of the season.

The Seamer from the Royal Challenger Bangalore team has taken the bowling responsibility on his shoulders single-handedly. Patel displayed some exceptional performance by bowling the most difficult overs from his side, and has destroyed the batting line up of many teams.

Harshal Patel set a new Indian Premier League record with 29 wickets during the ongoing season. He achieved the feat after dismissing Wriddhiman Saha of Hyderabad and has added another feather to his cap.

Patel finished as an incredible bowler in the RCB with a number of 3:33 against SRH in match 52, completing the most wicket taker of the season and became the purple cap holder. He also broke the previous record held by Jasprit Bumrah with 27 wickets for Mumbai Indians last season.

The 30 year old is having an awesome season where he has accounted for some breathing taking performance. He became the first bowler to take 5 wicket-haul against Mumbai Indians.

Patel bagged 4 wicket-haul and hat-trick against Mumbai Indians in the same match, helped his team to win. In this season Harshal has been the most important player for his skipper and team. Thanks to his consistent performance RCB has reached till playoffs.
