Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and MoS Sports Nisith Pramanik were also present at the occasion.

Earlier, PM Modi had announced that he will be meeting the medal winners from the 2022 Birmingham Games at his official residence at 11 am on Saturday.
Later, a felicitation ceremony has also been organised by the Ministry of Sports for the athletes at New Delhi's Ashoka Hotel.
After meeting PM Narendra Modi at his residence, Indian table tennis player Sharath Kamal SAID,
it was a motivating interaction with the PM. "Support extended to the fullest and encouraging words from...leaders of our nation ignites greater fire within to win more medals for the country," he added.
Of the 61 medals that India won, 22 were gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze. Nearly 200 Indian athletes competed for medals across 16 different sports at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
