Kohli was back to the form in this season he scored 530 runs in 14 matches with strike rate of 139.10. But unfortunately, he couldn’t inspire the team as RCB finished at the 6th position on the points table with just 6 wins.

This year history repeated itself the team finished at the last spot. The skipper scored 464 runs in 14 matches. Kohli hit a century and finished the tournament.

RCB finally made it to the 2nd round in 2020, only to bow out of IPL after losing the eliminator. Kohli scored 466 runs in 15 matches at UAE.

This season was the last season for Kohli as RCB captain. Captain Virat Kohli became the 1st Indian batsman to score 10,000 runs in T20. Kohli scored 405 runs in 15 matches. RCB qualified the playoffs but lost the eliminator 1 against KKR.
