Srilanka vs Pakistan match prediction

In their final Super 4 game of the Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka will face Babar Azam’s Pakistan in what will serve as a practise match for the final on Sunday (September 11). Having defeated India and Afghanistan in their first two Super 4 matches, Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka and Pakistan have already secured their spots in the championship game.

Pakistan is last. Naseem Shah attributed his final over heroics against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup to self-belief and practise sessions in the nets. In the final over of the game, Naseem hit two consecutive sixes to help his team defeat Afghanistan and advance to the championship.

The 22-year-old, who has already made an impression with his quick bowling in the tournament, took on a new role on Wednesday when his two jaw-dropping sixes eliminated India from the competition in addition to helping Pakistan win by one wicket in a tight Super 4 encounter.

After the game, Naseem said, “I just tried and I executed. When I walked in to bat, I had the belief to hit the sixes. I practise (hitting sixes) and I knew they would bowl yorkers since they had the field up.

“When you lose the ninth wicket, no one expects you to win, but we need to believe we can hit, we keep working in the nets, and I also altered my bat, it worked.
