Rashid khan is very impressed with Fazalhaq Farooqi said: massive sign

Rashid Khan, a renowned all-arounder for Afghanistan, is pleased with the way their fast bowlers and spinners performed in the 2022 Asia Cup.

He attributed Fazalhaq Farooqi’s ascent to the IPL, who was responsible for their triumph over Sri Lanka. In total, the left-arm seamer recorded 3/11 as Sri Lanka was bowled out for 105 runs. By eight wickets, Afghanistan won the match.

Rashid Khan gave the following statement to ESPNCricinfo on Thursday during Afghanistan’s training session:

“Bowling has always been beneficial to us, but if you look at our team, the fast-bowling unit struggled in the past, but we now have quality bowlers. Someone with experience playing in the IPL is Fazalhaq Farooqi. His exposure there has been enormous.

“We also have Naveen-ul-Haq, who is playing all around the world. This is a massive sign for us.”

Tuesday saw Afghanistan overcome Bangladesh by seven wickets (August 30). By limiting Shakib Al Hasan and company to 127/7 in their allotted 20 overs, Rashid and Mujeeb ur Rahman set the stage for their victory. With their flawless 40s, Ibrahim Zadran and Najibullah Zadran came through to help Afghanistan win the game.

Afghanistan is now the top Group B challenger in the competition after resounding victories against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In the Super 4 stage of the competition, they are prepared to face off against nations like Pakistan and India, according to spin master Rashid.
