Kinchit Shah’s Proposal video gone viral on social media.

Kinchit Shah's Proposal video gone viral on social media.

Although Hong Kong batsman Kinchit Shah’s team lost to India in the Asia Cup, he still had reason to celebrate after popping the question to his fiancée at the Dubai stadium.

Shah focused on more urgent concerns after his valiant 30-run performance against India. He proposed to his girlfriend. He proposed in a viral video that showed him getting down on one knee.

His efforts were amply rewarded when his lover agreed to his engagement proposal and he gave her a ring. His Hong Kong teammates may be spotted supporting the newlyweds as well.

The charming scene happened immediately following the game between India and Hong Kong.

The Asian Cricket Council posted the footage on its website, “Yes, she replied. After playing a crucial match against India, Hong Kong’s @shah kinchit95 proposed to his SO in a sweet moment. We congratulate the happy couple heartily. We hope your new life together is filled with love and happiness.”

The middle-order hitter has been a key player for Hong Kong throughout his career, appearing in 43 T20 Internationals and scoring 633 runs at an average of 20.42. His best performance in this format was a 79 against Ireland in 2019.

Kinchit Shah produced a solid 30 in the chase throughout the game off 28 deliveries before being caught by Ravi Bishnoi off Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

His innings, however, were in vain as Hong Kong finished 40 runs short. However, their inexperienced batters performed admirably as they punished the Indian pacers. While Avesh Khan went for 53 runs, Arshdeep Singh gave up 44 runs during his session.
