When we start thinking about top 5 openers a lot of names passes through our head but as per statistics we are going to put only some in this article. Comparing to the last year performances we have a couple of names on board that are expected to make a huge scope also comparing the overall career performances. But on the priority all teams are asked to announce the retention list of the players before by Board Control of Cricket India.
We have a bunch of players to be in the top 5 but the first one goes to
KL Rahul a passionate player and has a classic style in batting. Unfortunately he is not a part of Punjab kings from 2022 as the team already left him ahead of auction. In 2020 he has a good record of 670 runs in the 14 matches he played so he can be a player to go big.
David Warner is very well known for his big hitting and his unforgettable gaint score of 848 runs in 2016. He is simply a destructive batsman. As he is not a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad this year any more he is another player to go big.
Shikhar Dhawan is very well known for his batting skills he stood many times in the list of orange cap securing the position of 4th in 2021 and 2nd in 2020. Also he has an average of 34.84 runs per match so he is another player can go big.
Chris Morris In 2021 Indian Premier Leauge had made a unimaginable record price to sign up has gone for 16.25 crores so far highest for a player due to his all rounder skills he wasn’t upto the expectations but still has bulk of chances he can move big again in this season. Finally we can’t exactly predict the top list but expected to see some good names in bidding for sure.
