India have to focus on bowling balance in game against Shrilanka

In order to defeat Sri Lanka in their Super 4 match, which they must win, India will need to make the most of their limited bowling resources and refrain from over-experimenting.

India’s bowling options are limited because injured bowlers Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel, and Jasprit Bumrah are not available.

On Sunday, India faced Pakistan with five bowling options, but it did not go well for them since Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a rare off day.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who hasn’t been at his best in the tournament, and Hardik Pandya both proved costly after a match-winning performance in the first game against Pakistan.

Rahul Dravid emphasised that India would aim to play their best eleven in the run-up to the World Cup, but Rohit Sharma’s team is still trying new things.

The management offered Deepak Hooda a chance at the expense of the Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batter, who barely got to bat in the first two games due to the heated discussion between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik within the team.

Although there may not be enough bowling resources at the time, India needs to make a decision regarding their middle order quickly.

The prominent top-performance order’s in the Pakistan game was the game’s biggest plus. Virat Kohli, K L Rahul, and Rohit Sharma all displayed a high level of aggression and provided India a thrilling start.
