Yuzvendra Chahal (16th) and Shardul Thakur (72nd) of India have both risen in the rankings, while Nicholas Pooran, the captain of the West Indies, has moved up two spots to the 30th position.

Suryakumar Yadav, an Indian batsman, has climbed three ranks to take the second spot in the most recent T20 batter rankings.

With his 44-ball 76 against the West Indies in the third T20 International on Tuesday, Suryakumar closed the gap on the top-ranked hitter, Babar Azam, to just two rating points. Suryakumar was given the match’s player of the match award for his strike against the West Indies.

India now leads the five-match series 2-1. Suryakumar, who has 816 rating points, leads the batting order with 111 runs after three matches.

Reeza Hendricks, a South African batter who scored half-centuries in each of the three games she played against England, has climbed 16 spots to take the 15th spot.

A few more players who have improved significantly are South African Rilee Rossouw (joint-37th), England’s Jonny Bairstow (up 13 spots to 31st), and batter Brandon King of the West Indies (up 29 spots to 27th).

Along with Heinrich Klaasen, Rishabh Pant, an Indian wicket-keeper batter, is now ranked 66th. Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi of South Africa, who claimed eight wickets in the series against England, has moved up significantly in the T20 bowlers rating to take the second position.
