England has won both the matches of the ODI series so far and they are currently leading the series by 2-0. After winning the first game comfortably, they went on to win the second one as well.
In the 2nd ODI match, England beat Pakistan by 52 runs. In that game, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. Coming to bat, England lost a few early wickets but Philip Salt and James Vince handled the innings pretty well and smashed 60 runs and 56 runs respectively to steer the England innings. Lewis Gregory and Brydon Carse gave a good finishing touch to the innings where they both scored 40 runs and 30 runs respectively.
England managed to put up 257 runs on the board. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali took a 5-for while Haris Rauf grabbed 2 wickets. Coming to chase, Pakistan failed to chase down the target and managed to score only 195 runs for the loss of their all ten wickets where only Saud Shakeel and Hasan Ali could score 56 runs and 30 runs respectively.
Lewis Gregory picked up 3 wickets while Saqib Mahmood, Craig Overton, and Matt Parkinson grabbed 2 wickets each for England.
