Indian women’s fours lawn bowls team

On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, the Indian team will compete during day 5 of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022. The Commonwealth Games have been a fortunate hunting ground for the largest Commonwealth country. India, a top-five finisher since the 2002 competition, has heavily relied on the shooting event that was removed from the Birmingham Games schedule. They will strive to at least equal their 66-medal haul from the previous Gold Coast Games at the 2022 Birmingham Games. With as much as 26 gold medals, 20 silver medals, and 20 bronze medals in their collection, India came in third place in Gold Coast.

Lawn Bowls (Women’s Fours – Gold Medal Match)

India vs South Africa (4.15 PM)

India Lawn Bowls women’s four team created history on Monday when they defeated New Zealand 16-13 in the semifinals and booked their place in the final. Having assured themselves at least a silver, they will now face South Africa in the ultimate clash to secure the gold medal.

Table Tennis (Men’s team Gold Medal match)

India vs Singapore (6 PM)

At the Commonwealth Games on Monday, India, the defending champions, defeated Nigeria 3-0 and advanced to the final thanks to Sharath Kamal’s crushing of world no. 15 Aruna Quadri. A tenacious Singapore team is in front of India after they defeated England to secure their spot in the gold medal game.

Badminton (Mixed team Gold Medal match)

India vs Malaysia (10 PM)

India displayed their strength to blank Singapore 3-0 and go to the mixed team final at the Commonwealth Games on Monday. Lakshya Sen outwitted the current world champion Loh Kean Yew. On Tuesday, they will compete for the gold medal against Malaysia in an effort to increase India’s medal total.
