BCCI SUSPENDED IPL 2021 AMIDST COVID-19

IPL 2021 Suspended Indefinitely

Big Breaking News or Heart-Breaking News for IPL fans. This season of IPL 2021 is suspended indefinitely as per BCCI vice-president. Due to an increase in the number of positive cases within the Bio-Bubble.
After the rupturing KKR’s and CSK’s bio bubble. The news came from DC’s Amit Mishra and SRH’s Wriddhiman Saha tested positive. Wriddhiman Saha wicket-keeper batsman of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Amit Mishra spinner of Delhi Capitals tested positive for Covid-19. The first match which is postponed is between KKR and RCB after two players of KKR tested positive. But as of now, the cases are increasing within the bio bubble.

Chennai Denied to Play

One player of Chennai Super Kings tested positive the team denied to play the next match until the team is totally safe. The team decided not to play further matches as per safety of players.

BCCI made a call

The BCCI has to make a final call about the rescheduling of matches. But the increase in the number of cases doesn’t leave any choices for them. As the increase in the number of cases within the bio bubble Government also nudges BCCI about canceling the IPL. Due to all these happenings, the BCCI’s Vice-president Rajeev Shukla has the news that IPL 2021 is suspended indefinitely amidst Covid-19.
The BCCI doesn’t want to compromise with other player’s safety, support staff, and other members of the team. Keeping all this in mind the BCCI decided to suspend this season and make a safe way out for all the players.

As per latest news from Vice president Rajeev Shukla he stated that the IPL 2021 is just suspended not cancelled yet. The good news from BCCI came for cricket fans, the BCCI will look whether they can reschedule matches. If it’s possible, then IPL 2021 will be resumed after short period of time.
